Feeding Britain Case Study - Balcaskie Estate

The Sustainable Food Trust case study follows Toby Anstruther of the Balcaskie Estate, an organic mixed livestock and arable farm of nearly 3,000-acres

Regenerative Agriculture | Sustainable Food Trust's Feeding Britain Case Study: Balcaskie Estate

Situated in the East Neuk of Fife, the nearly 3000-acre Balcaskie Estate is an organic mixed livestock and arable farm managed by Toby Anstruther. They are part of a movement by the sustainable food trust to engage farmers to use sustainable and regenerative farming practices that could help to tackle the climate, nature and public health crises, could produce enough food to maintain and potentially even improve current levels of self-sufficiency, provided we ate differently, ate less and cut food waste.
