Regenerative Agriculture | Sustainable Food Trust - Introduction to the Global Farm Metric

Shared on RE:TV in partnership with Sustainable Food Trust, a member of the Sustainable Markets Initiative's Agribusiness Task Force

With half of our land now used for agriculture, farmers worldwide have become the primary stewards of nature, climate, and health. However, their ability to deliver public goods requires a shift from systems based on extraction and growth to approaches founded on the principles of regeneration, sustainability, and the circular economy.

In this film, Patrick Holden (CEO) and Adele Jones (Deputy CEO) of the Sustainable Food Trust introduce the Global Farm Metric (GFM) framework. Through the lens of Patrick's own dairy farm, they highlight the benefits of this framework for both the farmer and the environment.
